Florida CLE Requirements
Important: All Florida attorneys must complete the “Continuing Legal Education Application for Unapproved Course Attendance Credit” when completing Florida CLE courses on this website. The application may be obtained from the State Bar of Florida or by clicking here.
Florida attorneys must complete 30 hours of continuing legal education every three years. Modern CLE offers flexible, online courses that meet Florida Bar requirements and include required specialty credits.

Florida requires 30 hours of CLE every two years.
PROFESSIONALISM & MORE
At least 5 of the 30 hours must include 2 in the mandatory Florida Legal Professionalism Course, and the remaining 3 hours may be in legal ethics, substance abuse, mental health, and professionalism.
Technology Requirement
Attorneys in the State of Florida must complete 3 hours of the required 30 hours in approved technology.
